No dia 3 de março de 2023, decorreu em Lisboa o workshop “Interação com as orcas”, organizado pelo ICNF, Marinha Portuguesa e Autoridade Marítima Nacional, com a colaboração da Associação Naval de Lisboa e da Associação Nacional de Cruzeiros.
Ruth Esteban participou desta atividade para o GTOA falando sobre a biologia das orcas e Alfredo López falando sobre o resumo das interações desde 2020.
A presença de representantes da Marinha, da entidade responsável pelo salvamento marítimo em Portugal, da administração ambiental, marinheiros e responsáveis de projetos acústicos e de observação de empresas e universidades completaram um dia de grande interesse, onde, pela primeira vez, todos os agentes eles se juntaram envolvendo-os nas interações.
