La divulgation d'informations scientifiques est l'objectif principal du projet FriendSHIP orcas, un réseau citoyen pour la protection et la conservation d'une population unique et menacée: les orques ibériques, en essayant d'atteindre un large public cible.

La GTOA disposait déjà d'un site Web dont le format, la conception et le contenu ont été améliorés, le rendant plus polyvalent, agile et convivial. D'autres outils tels que Twitter et Instagram ont également été ouverts.
