Pepe Carreiro est l'un des plus grands dessinateurs de bande dessinée de Galice, très actif dans l'humour graphique et la bande dessinée, créateur de la série à succès OS BOLECHAS. En tant que comédien graphique, il a été le fondateur du magazine d'humour Can sen Dono. Il a également été le fondateur du magazine satirique XO ! "la voix qui arrête les bêtes sauvages". Dessinateur, scénariste et illustrateur pour enfants.
À la télévision, il est l'auteur et le scénariste de la série Os Bolechas, diffusée sur TVG au Club Xabarín. Il collabore au journal pour enfants et adolescents O Papagaio. En tant que graphiste et publicitaire, il a travaillé comme dessinateur et directeur artistique dans diverses agences de publicité à Vigo. Il a fondé sa propre agence avec d'autres partenaires, également à Vigo. En tant que graphiste, en plus de développer ce travail en agence, il possède son propre studio depuis les années 90.
Actuellement inclus dans le projet FriendSHIP orcas, il réalise une nouvelle publication d'Os Bolechas pour rapprocher les orques des plus petits de la maison. Ce projet est financé par la Fondation Santander.
