Le 16 juin, un atelier sur les orques a eu lieu dans les installations du Castillo de Santa Cruz, CEIDA. L'objectif de cet atelier était de faire connaître l'écobiologie des orques ibériques, les interactions avec les bateaux et l'avant-garde des débats et des activités proposées dans le cadre de leur conservation.
Cet atelier s'adressait aux personnes qui travaillent dans les différents domaines de la navigation et de la sécurité maritime : sauvetage maritime, garde civile, protection civile, croix rouge, autorités portuaires, clubs nautiques, garde-côtes galiciens, marine...
L'atelier a duré 4 heures et a compté sur la participation du Dr Ruth Esteban du GTOA, du Dr Alfredo López du CEMMA et du GTOA, de Bernardo Viqueira du Salvamento Marítimo de A Coruña, de Román Paz de Cruz Roja A Coruña, Eliseo Pacheco de l'École Nautique. de La Corogne, Marina Sequeira du gouvernement portugais et Mónica González du CEMMA et GTOA.
