Presentación de los nuevos materiales en Vigo

El pasado jueves 11 de abril, tuvo lugar en el Espacio Cultural Río Lagares la presentación de los nuevos materiales elaborados dentro del proyecto Friendship orcas, financiado por la Fundación Santander.
Tuvimos el placer de contar en esta jornada con Sara Bermúdez, Pepe Carreiro, Victor Tizón y Tokio.
Pepe Carreiro, creador e ilustrador de Los Bolechas, presentó una nueva edición esta vez sobre orcas. La historia trata de los Bolechas leyendo un cuento antes de irse a dormir, relativo a la biología de las orcas y las interacciones con los veleros. <<Las orcas, parientes de nuestra familia mamífera>>.
Alfredo López, conocido en el mundo de la ilustración como Tokio, presentó el libro Salseiro, que trata sobre la biología e interacciones de las orcas, ofreciendo un pequeño cómic explicativo además de una parte de información referida al proyecto. <<Si pudiera estar al lado de un cetáceo, me gustaría estar al lado de la orca>>. En el salseiro se incluyen varias ilustraciones de diferentes artistas, como Sara Bermúdez, Víctor Tizón, Manel Cráneo, Emma Ríos y Cristina Otero.
Victor Tizón elaboró varias imágenes interpretando la superioridad humana frente al resto de los seres vivos, además del sensacionalismo de la prensa. << En el escaparate del negocio del Sr. Homo sapiens, hay, pegado con sangre, un rótulo en el que se puede leer: "Orcas. Liquidación total".>>
Sara Bermúdez elaboró una ilustración de una orca surcando el cielo. <<Busquemos en la tierra lo mismo que anhelamos encontrar en el universo y la ciencia nos revelará seres más inteligentes de lo que nos atrevemos a sospechar y una mayor comprensión hacia ellos.>>
