Autora de cómics que se forma a medio camino entre la arquitectura y la autoedición. Tras hacer trabajo de encargo para editoriales como Marvel o DC, se vuelca en obras cada vez más personales a partir de 2014 bajo el sello de Image Comics.
Sus libros más característicos son: I.D. como autora completa, los dos volúmenes de Mirror: El reflejo de la montaña y El nido con la autora malaya Hwei Lim y los tres volúmenes de Bella Muerte con la escritora Kelly Sue DeConnick, todas editadas en España por la Editorial Astiberri. También ha co-editado la revista Island y realizado varios trabajos de ilustradora para clientes de renombre como SIE o Prada. Ha recibido varias nominaciones y premios, incluyendo el Premio Eisner a mejor portadista en 2020.
Actualmente englobada dentro del proyecto FriendSHIP orcas, se encuentra dibujando una serie de láminas relacionadas con las orcas para el proyecto, que busca la conservación y gestión de la subpoblación de orcas ibéricas en peligro de extinción.
