Pepe Carreiro es uno de los mayores dibujantes de Galicia, muy activo en el humor gráfico y el cómic, creador de la exitosa serie OS BOLECHAS. Como comediante gráfico fue el fundador de la revista de humor Can sen Dono. ¡También fue el fundador de la revista satírica XO! "la voz que detiene a las fieras". Dibujante, guionista e ilustrador infantil.
En televisión, es autor y guionista de la serie Os Bolechas, que se emite en TVG en el Club Xabarín. Colabora en el periódico infantil y juvenil O Papagaio. Como diseñador gráfico y publicitario, trabajó como dibujante y director de arte en varias agencias de publicidad de Vigo. Fundó con otros socios su propia agencia también en Vigo. Como diseñador gráfico, además de desarrollar este trabajo en agencias, cuenta con su propio estudio desde los años 90.
Actualmente englobado dentro del proyecto FriendSHIP orcas, está haciendo una nueva publicación de Os Bolechas para acercar las orcas a los más peques de la casa. Este proyecto está financiado por la Fundación Santander.
